To begin my super 8 experiments I was particularly interested in the role of the projector within the film itself.
How the humming and clattering of the projector becomes a part of the viewing experience, you cannot escape its presence. Even so without this now nostalgic atmosphere the silent film suddenly becomes less intriguing.
